Self-Driving Rental – Terms & Conditions

IMPORTANT: Please read these Self-Driving Rental Terms and Conditions carefully before renting a vehicle from Valla Travels. By renting a self-drive vehicle, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not proceed with the rental.
1. Eligibility & Documentation
The renter must be at least 21 years old.
The following documents are mandatory:
- Valid Driving License (Original)
- Aadhar Card (Xerox)
- Two-wheeler must be handed over to the office for verification
2. Booking & Payment
Booking is confirmed only after full payment (Rental Amount + Security Deposit).
Security deposit is refundable within 2 days after:
- Vehicle inspection
- Verification of pending traffic fines
3. Usage Terms
WARNING: The renter is fully responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of the vehicle during the rental period.
The vehicle must not be used for:
- Racing, stunts, towing, or illegal activities
- Subletting or lending to any third party
Only the renter is allowed to operate the vehicle.
4. Vehicle Return Conditions
The vehicle must be returned with:
- The same fuel level as at the time of delivery
- In a clean condition. Excessive dirt will incur cleaning charges
Late return charges will apply if the vehicle is returned beyond the agreed time.
5. Traffic & Legal Responsibilities
All traffic fines, tolls, and penalties are the renter's responsibility.
In case of a breakdown, the renter must immediately inform the office.
STRICTLY PROHIBITED: Tampering with the vehicle (GPS, speedometer, internal wiring, etc.) is strictly prohibited and may lead to penalties or legal action.
6. Insurance & Accidents
Insurance covers standard accidents only.
In the event of an accident:
- The renter must immediately inform the office and local authorities
- Do not move the vehicle unless instructed by police or authorized personnel
7. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Cancellations made 24+ hours before booking time are eligible for a partial refund
- Last-minute cancellations may result in no refund
- In cases of gross misuse, major accidents, or policy violations, the security deposit may be forfeited
8. Additional Terms
- The company reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion
- If applicable, the renter consents to GPS tracking for safety and anti-theft measures
- The company is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)
